Your e-ticket is exchanged for a vehicle pass and wristbands in Birdsville town, before you head out to Bashville.

How it works

Collect in town,
then head out

Oztix sends you two emails. The first is a purchase confirmation — allow up to 30 minutes for it to come through. The second is your e-ticket, and it arrives about six weeks before the festival. Nothing is posted to you.

The e-ticket is the one you bring. You exchange it at the Ticketing Office in Birdsville town for your vehicle pass and your festival wristbands, before you head out to Bashville.

Step by step

Three steps, in this order

01 · Buy

Oztix emails you a purchase confirmation — allow up to 30 minutes for it to land. That one is your receipt. Your e-ticket follows about six weeks before the festival, and there is no physical ticket.

02 · Download or print

Do this before you leave for Birdsville, while you still have reception. Save it to your phone, print a copy, or both.

03 · Collect in town

Swap your e-ticket at the Ticketing Office for your vehicle pass and wristbands, then head out to Bashville.

Good to know

Birdsville has extremely limited internet. Waiting until you arrive to pull up your e-ticket is the single most common reason people get held up at the Ticketing Office. Load it onto your phone before you leave home, and bring a printed copy as a backup.

After you collect

Then out to the Main Gate

With your vehicle pass and wristbands in hand, it's the drive out to the Main Gate. The pass is what gets your vehicle onto the site.

Roll-in runs 7am to 5pm daily, from the date on your vehicle pass. Arriving at the busiest times, especially before 11am, can mean a longer wait.

Give it up to 30 minutes. On a busy on-sale day the confirmations queue up and they don’t always land straight away. Check your junk and spam folders while you wait, and search your inbox for Oztix. If it still hasn’t turned up after half an hour, contact us.
