Accommodation in Birdsville
Before and after the Big Red Bash, Birdsville becomes a very busy outback hub. The local population swells from a few hundred people to around 10,000 during the Bash period.
Because Birdsville is a small remote town, accommodation options are limited and book out quickly. If you plan to stay in town, we strongly recommend organising your accommodation well in advance.

FREE CAMPING ON THE TOWN COMMON
A free camping area is available on the Common, south of town between the first cattle grid and the Diamantina River bridge.
