Facilities at Bashville

Camping at the Big Red Bash is a true outback experience. With Birdsville over 35km away and the nearest capital city more than 1,000km away, we’re limited in the facilities we can provide. You need to bring everything you’ll need for your stay.

It’s all part of the adventure at the world’s most remote music festival.

  • Serviced regularly

  • Hand sanitiser at all toilet blocks and additional stations in the Plaza & Concert Area

Waste & Recycling

  • Bins in the Plaza and Concert Area (for pedestrian use only)

  • Recycling bins for aluminium cans and PET plastic bottles

  • Food waste composting stations

  • Limited greywater disposal (for those unable to store their own)

Some rules require planning before you leave home. Please take the time to read them carefully.

Being prepared helps keep everyone safe and protects the stunning Simpson Desert environment we’re lucky enough to call home for a few days.
